Born in 1945 in Berne, Switzerland, Peter continues a family tradition that dates back to 1920. He represents the third generation of golf course architects.

1965-1966 Peter went to U.S.A. to study the theoretical and practical aspects of landscaping and golf design and construction.
Peter is the Chief Architect in `Harradine Golf` and has personally designed and co-designed over 180 golf courses in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia from projects at sea level in arid, hot, rocky and salty conditions to ecologically sensitive courses in the plains and up to alpine sites at altitudes of 1850 m.
Peter is a former president of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects and the European Society of Golf Course Architects.
