Kneale started out in the golf industry as a greenkeeper at Ramsey Golf Club in the Isle of Man and spent over 16 years in the industry and his final position was Golf Course & Estates Manager at Marriott Hanbury Manor Hotel & Country Club where he managed a large irrigation system installation. From there he joined Rain Bird and spent over 10 years with the company prior to leaving in 2015 and joining the Perrot family.
He has a good knowledge of the golf and sport turf market both within the UK and also throughout Europe and has technical and practical experience with installation works and techniques. He is also an Irrigation Association qualified auditor for golf irrigation.
His main focus will be on growing the brand of Perrot within the UK market and helping to educate customers on irrigation requirements for golf and sports turf showing them how the Perrot product range and family can offer them an alternative high quality product.
On joining Perrot Kneale stated, “I am extremely happy to join the Perrot team. I knew of the product prior to joining them and always knew of the company as what I would describe as the usual high quality design and engineering as you would expect from a German brand. What I didn’t realise at the time was how broad the range is and how adaptive these products will be for the UK market in particular. I am really excited and looking forward to helping grow the business, offering the UK an alternative product line and company.”
Perrot will, as always, have a stand at the GaLaBau Trade Fair which runs from September 14th to 17th in Nuremberg, Germany and most of the team will be present. If you are attending please come and say hello at Stand 531 in Hall 4.
