Partners and guests at EIGCA BTME Reception
The event, staged at the Majestic Hotel, was a great chance to meet and discuss forthcoming projects and other plans for 2018 as well as to officially introduce Tim Lobb in his new role as Partner Liaison Officer.
It was also an opportunity for others from the golf industry to learn more about the EIGCA and especially our Partnership and Affiliate programme. Continuing to build strong relationships with representatives throughout the golf industry is an essential part of the EIGCA’s role as a representative body. It is clear that our drive to further develop the professionalism of the membership through initiatives such as our CPD programme and the the Sustainability Development Programme has been seen as an important step forward by both our Partners and Patrons. Indeed, on the back of this event we will soon be announcing some excellent news regarding new Partners.
James Edwards presenting at the workshop run by him and Tim Lobb
Around 50 people attended the reception and we were delighted there was such a great response. Particular thanks must go to Les Howkins, Chairman of BIGGA, for taking the time to officially welcome everyone.
Prior to the reception and as part of the EIGCA’s new partnership with BIGGA, two Members, Tim Lobb and James Edwards, ran a one day renovation workshop at BTME for BIGGA members. This will be an ongoing event at BTME and a great opportunity for EIGCA members to both contribute to an important new initiative and develop new working relationships.
