A Consultant Partner is an individual who is working in a solely fee-based professional practice associated with the golf course design business such as agronomy, irrigation engineering, drainage design, land planning, surveying, landscape architecture, environmental consultancy, legal, financial and marketing services, photography and clubhouse architecture.

Jim Ferguson, Golf Development Consultant is currently working with the prestigious Golf Club de Genève during their upcoming redevelopment. Jim is project managing the club's planned upgrades and renovation of Greens, Tees and Bunkers to include USGA specification materials. The redevelopment at Golf Club de Genève will also include the installation of state of the art drainage and irrigation systems. The introduction of ceramics in the rootzone of the Greens and Tees along with the SubAir system in the Greens is also part of the redevelopment plans.

Jim will consult, as the clubs representative, with officials and suppliers throughout the planning, tendering for both contractors and materials and the construction process, advising the Club on all aspects of works involved by drawing on his vast experience.

The redevelopment works will commence this September and run until May 2016.
