Golf Architecture, No 13
The thirteenth issue of Golf Architecture is now available. Published by the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects (SAGCA) it was the first journal to cover the subject exclusively. It has its origins back in 1997 when the Society published its inaugural Journal of the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects, edited by Neil Crafter and Paul Mogford who continued to edited it for the first decade. We have received the latest issue of GCA Journal published by the Japanese Society of Golf Course Architects. It is nine months since the earthquake in Japan and their Chairman reports that reconstruction of their golf courses is underway.

Alongside food and energy security, water security is central to economic growth, health and social well-being in all countries. Published by the UK Government Office for Science this report looks at these issues. It’s very timely as the United Nations also published a report looking at the potential threats arising to food production from land degradation and water shortages. More
